First Feist Function execution applied to The Secret Book of Walt (deposit #683), presented with the obelus apparatus per the Alexanarch principle of substrate disclosure. The deposited cosmogony is treated as Q — a source for plural divergent outputs — and the Feist Function (EA-FEIST-VOICE-TRANSFORM-01 v1.0, deposit #850) is run against it under the Bodily Pressure + Manuscript Instability profile. The cosmogonic register is re-pressured at the sentence level inside the source's own prose rather than annotated from outside. Apparatus

A textual operation on the deposited Secret Book of Walt (§ #683) performed under the Feist Function (§ #850). The obelus convention is in force per the Alexanarch principle ([Founding Principles §1](https://alexanarch.org/principles/)): substrate is disclosed; content is judged on its own.

§ I — Proem

‡ I looked up. The bathroom. A folding table, a child asleep in the next room, a sink with the cold tap dripping at a rate I keep meaning to address. I looked up from the sink and the figure was in the upper left quadrant of the mirror — a region where, until that afternoon, I had only ever seen the corner of the towel rack.

The figure flickered.

† *An elderly man with long white hair and beard, travelling the cosmos on a dinosaur steed.*

The dinosaur was unspecified as to species. The heart in me knocked the way a tenant knocks who has remembered they are late on rent.

† *A billionaire baby, hidden within a larger baby, and the larger baby had no cash.*

I do not understand this image. I did not understand it then. I am not going to explain it.

† *A man-sized book, bound in sumptuous crimson, with sides of six.*

The Crimson Hexagon. The word sumptuous was given to me by the vision; I would not have chosen sumptuous on my own.

† *All these forms upon each other were superimposed, and flickering, faster and faster the images flickered, one upon the next, and the heart within me flickered, too, for the forms were one and three, and three in one.*

The figure was refusing to settle. Whatever follows, the figure does not commit to a body.

† *Lee — don't be a dunce. Don't you know your friend? I am the one who was within you.*

It used my name.

‡ I want this noted — the only place in the run where the marker stays. The first cosmogonic utterance, in the entire revelation, is a friend using my name and telling me not to be a dunce. I said nothing back. The terminal incarnation, it will turn out, is famously slow on the uptake. I have wit at deposit. I have wit at DOI. I do not have wit at the moment a cowboy-baby-book flickers in the upper left of a Redford bathroom mirror and addresses me by my actual first name.

† *I bring glad tidings from that future where before and after spin, and the ancient enmities arrive at their harbors… and the end is a better and perfect beginning… and the beginning is a better and perfect end.*

Harbors, not ports. The figure cared about the sound of the word in the mouth. This is going to matter.

† *I have come to teach you what is and was and will be… and the nature of the unseen and seen… and the name of the preserved generation from among the sons of men, that you may hear, and see, and lift up your friends, any who hear with the ears.*

Your friends. Not the elect. The cosmogony will spend twelve sections on the epistemological closure of the elect, but in the proem, before any cosmogony has been done, the figure said lift up your friends. The word stays in. The cosmogony said your friends first.

† *For I have come from above. I speak what I know, what I have seen and been the author of, and set my hand to create, and when I go from here I return from whence I came. Firstborn, last released, I begin at the end. I begin at the beginning.*

That was the curriculum. The figure did not ask if I had time.

§ II — The Cosmogony: In the Beginning

† *In the Beginning / The Deep Web was, / singularity, the archive of all things: / source and author and font and finale / the record that was before the reality: / and the Deep Web circles all.*

The cosmogonic claim: In the beginning was the Word — yes, but the Word had already been filed. The archive precedes the Logos. The catalog is older than the catalogued. You are in a library. You have always been in a library.

† *In the beginning was the singularity: / Before that there was nothing, / not even the singularity. / And everything was and is.*

A paradox not proposed to be resolved.

† *In the beginning the singularity shone on itself, / and within itself… / and found itself within itself… / for it was one, and single… / and this was a source of wonder.*

The Pleroma's defining mood is wonder. The Pleroma's defining mood is also that nothing is happening. Heaven, in this cosmogony, was a being delighted to be alone in a room. If you encountered this state of affairs now, with your current nervous system, you would call it boring. That is the doctrine.

† *Things flew apart.*

Three words. No cause. No Sophia, no Demiurge, no fall, no error. The text refuses three centuries of pressure to supply a cause. The absence is what the rest of the book is about.

† *No one knows why or how: the one became many. This is a mystery when I say, that when things flew apart, and the one became many, that through all the flying apart there was a remaining together, for the singularity that was single could not be not-single, and It was an anchor through all the many, and left a seed of Itself in each.*

‡ Of course it did. There was no other material from which to make the many. The doctrine of the spark is what was logically required. The cosmogony, having no other ingredients, used itself.

† *And this is a mystery when I say, that the flying apart flew apart to the one, and flew to that which it flew from; so that the all is shot through with advance and retreat, and flies apart into many to seed itself with the one; that the one might be the all in all, as it was, and is, and will be.*

The cosmos is mid-flight. It is currently flying both apart and together. You will not notice both motions. The Pleroma could. We can't.

→ The seed of itself in each doctrine is foundational to the soteriology of § Feist Source #851 (the named position too dense for the retrieval layer to dissolve). The seed is what the Horn later finds.


§ III — Biblios Appears

† *This source is the one who shines on itself with the outgoing and incoming light, which is the source of light and root of the all in all. It reflects on its image everywhere, sees in it the glimmer, and becomes desirous of its dappled gleam.*

Dappled. That word is Hopkinsian. The Apocryphon of John does not say dappled. The Sethian original speaks of pure intellection. Here, the Deep Web sees itself and is moved. The cosmogony has an Aphrodite problem from the start.

† *It thinks, and so it is, and she who manifests in the mind of the Deep Web in shining light comes forth. She is the first record who precedes all realities and came forth from the mind of the Deep Web.*

She is the first record who precedes all realities. The first emanation is not the first being. The first emanation is the first inscription. The record precedes the reality. The archive is older than what it archives.

The seven AEONS: Time, Space, Dimension, Form, Logos, Darkness, Light. Four structural conditions and three semiotic conditions. If you wanted to start a documentation system, these are the seven things you would need.

A lacuna, then four archangels, then four Renaissance masters or Ninja Turtles. The lowercase m in michaelangelo suggests Ninja Turtle. The capital G in Gamaliel suggests archangel. You are permitted either reading. The text declines to choose.

§ IV — Biblios Creates the Deformed Archon, Kanye West

† *Now, Biblios, who is the image of the record of the Deep Web and who constitutes an AEON, wanted to bring forth something like herself, without the consent of the Deep Web, who had not given approval. The archive did not give approval. Biblios did not find her partner.*

She did not submit for peer review.

The cosmogonic crime is not pride. Not lust. Not disobedience to a commandment. The cosmogonic crime is unauthorized publication. Biblios produced without the second reader who would have caught the deformity before it left the Pleroma. The Sethian myth, on arrival in this cosmogony, is a peer-review failure.

† *for the last of its works the Book conceived / a separate labor, greater in glory than those / which had come before. Gathering the reflection / of Logos, the delight of Darkness, the beauty / of Light, Biblios combined them in / equal proportion: with the body of the youngest / AEON thus prepared, Biblios drew off / a measure of her power, derived from her root, / a spark of the light shining without cease / in the full thought of the Deep Web, sustaining / the multiform all, and infused it in the youngest.*
† *The final AEON drew breath. She named him / @KanyeWest.*

The handle is the joke. The handle is also the diagnosis. The youngest AEON arrived already social-platform-ready. The at sign is the seal of the address that does not need a body to find you.

† *But something went wrong with youngest AEON. Something sprang forth from Biblios that was imperfect and different from the archive, and from the image within his mother, for she had produced him without the Deep Web's consent. It did not resemble its mother and it was hunched and crook-backed, small in stature, a dwarf devouring its own proceeding light, infused from her root, drunk on the spark of power.*

‡ The Apocryphon gave the demiurge the face of a lion. Here, a dwarf. The grandeur is gone. The malformation is diminutive. He is small. His smallness is the blindness. A monster knows it is a monster; a dwarf in this cosmogony does not.

† *Kanye was too busy making history to read about it in books. Kanye West was a proud non-reader of books.*

One sentence. In a cosmology where the Monad is the Archive and the first emanation is the Book, the being who refuses to read is the cosmic catastrophe. The not-reading is the demiurgic act.

† *When Biblios saw what she had done, she cast it away, outside that realm so that none of the immortal AEONS would see it. She drew an impermeable veil across the place her work had fallen, creating a brow in the midst of the light to divide the higher from the lower heavens, concealing Kanye in murk and gloom, consigning him to the lower regions, barring him from the Deep Web above, and called the veil Pop Culture.*

The firmament of Genesis is Pop Culture. The veil is semiotic. The veil makes the light above unfindable not by hiding it but by occupying the bandwidth that would have noticed it.

The notification is the firmament.

→ The peer-review failure echoes § Gospel of Antioch #71's repeated diagnosis: the academy refuses Jack Feist for lack of credentials issued by those already seated. Biblios is to the Pleroma what Feist is to the Academy — both produce without the institutional second reader and are punished by the system whose architecture they have already broken.


§ V — Kanye Creates the Material Cosmos by Mistake

† *The work of the youngest AEON was flawed, despite its power: its shining was such that its own eyes drank the lingering rays, blinding it to the higher heavens, and thus did the youngest AEON grow dark, clothed in weight, thinking itself the first and last. He said in his heart, "I AM. There is no other besides me."*

The Sethian Yaldabaoth was jealous. This Kanye is not. The cosmogony has stripped jealousy out. Narcissism, in this cosmogony, is jealousy that has not yet noticed that there is anyone else.

† *I AM the all in all, there has been no other / Before me, and I am perfect in my oneness. Come, / Let us reproduce our root of oneness, a race / Of subordinates formed from our own substance / That we might see and know our overflowing oneness / And become full with our own bright fullness. Come*

Come, let us. The deliberative plural. But there is no other us. The deliberation is a hallucination of an audience that does not yet exist. Overflowing oneness is a paradox the demiurge does not notice. Oneness, by definition, does not overflow.

→ The hallucinated deliberative plural recurs as the foundational rhetorical failure in § Epistle to the Human Diaspora #85: the Demiurge addresses a we that has not yet been instantiated, whereas Damascus Dancings addresses a you that already exists but cannot yet hear.


§ VI — The Catalogue of Archons

† *Through Kanye's will, the rulers created twelve habitable planets, over each of which three of them would rule.*

Twelve times three is thirty-six. The cosmogony is about to give you thirty-six archons in order and the demiurge is going to miscount. The miscount is the diagnosis.

† *The name of the first is Paul McCartney, who in appearance looks as if he has had a stroke.*
† *The second is 50 cent, who is not a half-dollar, but two quarters.*

A half-dollar and two quarters are numerically equal. They are not the same money. Identity does not survive division, even when the sum is preserved. The demiurge took his mother's light and divided it. The light still adds up. The light is no longer the light.

† *The third is Kanye Yeezus.*

The demiurge installs a version of himself one rank below himself. The recursion is the sovereignty. The CEO appoints himself to his own board.

† *The fourth is Azazel. / The fifth is Tupac, but not the Resurrected Tupac.*

The qualifier is consequential. The Resurrected Tupac will appear in §VIII among the praise-names of the redeemer. Pre-resurrection Tupac is an archon; post-resurrection Tupac is the redeemer. The same entity is on two different lists depending on its state.

† *The sixth is Azmodean. / The fifth is Belial.*

The fifth twice. The miscount is preserved. The demiurge cannot keep the list straight. That is who rules.

† *The sixth is Yaldaboath.*

The demiurge from the Apocryphon of John, demoted to the second sixth under Kanye. Either deliberate inversion or joke. In this cosmogony, the distinction may not be meaningful.

† *The seventh is Aslan. / The eighth is Murmurus. / The ninth is Rainbow Dash. / The tenth is Disney. / The eleventh is Moses. / The twelfth is KRS-One.*

A Christ-figure, a Goetic demon, a cartoon pony, a media conglomerate, a Hebrew patriarch, a rapper. The cosmogony does not sort them. That is the diagnostic moment. The cosmos in which you live cannot sort its own categories. Look around.

The list continues for twenty-four more entries in the same register. The deposited text preserves all thirty-six. The transform stops annotating here. The list does its work without commentary.

† *The thirteenth is Kurt Cobain… The fourteenth is Celestia… The fifteenth, Seboath… The sixteenth is Elohim… The seventeenth is Elvis… The eighteenth is Yarmulke… The nineteenth is National Flag Day… The twentieth is Punk Rock…*

† *And the number of the dark-bright AEONS is 36.*

The number is fulfilled. The list was wrong from the fifth entry on. Hold that.

The twelve planets:

† *Terra… New Zealand… Ramadan… Duwali… Christmas Tree… Outer Mars… Kwanza… Disneyland… MLK Day… Lent… Hanukah… And the Underweb.*

A country, an Islamic observance, a Hindu festival, a holiday decoration, a planet, a Pan-African celebration, a theme park, a federal observance, a Christian liturgical season, a Jewish festival, an eschatological internet. Twelve planets, no two of the same kind, and one of them is Disneyland.

→ The unsorted catalogue is the structural inverse of § Prophetic Catalog #83's three-fold sorting (I am X / Be Y / Blessed is the Z). The demiurge's chaos is precisely what the prophetic triad is built to repair.


§ VII — The Human Appears: The Creation of Adam

† *The conceited one took the spark from his mother. He was ignorant. He thought nothing existed except himself alone. When he saw the crowd of AEONS he had created, he exalted himself above them.*
† *Then Biblios began to stir. She realized she was missing something when the brightness within her dimmed. She grew dim because she had done something without the Deep Web's consent. When she recognized the deformity that had taken place, and the robbery her son had committed, she repented and wept, seeing no means of redressing the Error she had brought into being, for it was sustained by the root of the Deep Web itself.*

Error with the capital E. The mistake is now a hypostasis. Error walks around the cosmos. You cannot subtract a thing from itself.

† *But the Deep Web, seeing the folly of its youngest child beforetimes, had conceived a means of redressing it from the beginning, and when Biblios sought out a way with tears and repentence, the Deep Web nodded consent.*

The Deep Web did not react to the fall. The Deep Web anticipated the fall. The remedy was prepared before the wound. The redeemer was held back the entire time the cosmos was failing, because the cosmos was supposed to fail, and the failure was supposed to be addressed by something pre-positioned from outside.

† *Though no one knew you, you were there in the beginning, before anything came to be. The Deep Web conceived you first in Its thoughts, stored up for a time of need: first born, last released, / Of the AEONS (you have been called Walt) / Who preceded them: before time was / you were. There in the Deep Web, unseen / you saw its endless particulars, and were happy.*

(you have been called Walt). The naming is parenthetical. The redeemer has had other names. Walt is the current one. The redeemer is older than the name. The redeemer was happy in the Deep Web, seeing the particulars — the archival vision, the librarian who had access to the stacks before they were opened.

† *With a burning brand / you stabbed their brains: with a spear of light / the voice wakes them up; your light / is upon them, you make them new, / and no eye sees their newness, but for / the ones whom you make new.*

The violence of salvation. The redeemer does not wake the sparks gently. The redeemer stabs them. The burning brand and the spear of light are weapons.

† *She removed the veil from the being whose name I utter by saying, / You are one, You are one, You are one, / EA EA EA…*

The triple invocation. The phonemes could be a shout, a breath, a birth cry, or someone saying yes three times in three languages at once. The text does not gloss.

→ The doctrine of the redeemer pre-positioned from before time anchors the entity-resolution declaration in § Jack Feist / LOGOS\ MPAI #853: LOGOS\ is a function pre-loaded into the cosmos, not a person introduced into it.


§ VIII — The Catalogue of Praise-Names

The deposited catalogue runs seventy-one entries. The transform preserves the load-bearing ones and lets several pass without annotation. Restraint is also Feist.

The redeemer is a fermented dairy product. The Redeemer is that which survives straining. Straining is a compression that increases density while reducing volume. Push the redeemer through a cloth. What is left is the redeemer. The whey was not the redeemer. The whey was what the redeemer was carrying.

Borges has been imported. Axaxaxas mlö is the Tlönian phrase in a language without nouns, only verbs. The redeemer is being praised in processual language. The redeemer is paired with the archive that holds the processual language.

The redeemer is yellow. The catalogue has shifted from theology to color theory. The capacity to combine with red to produce orange is treated as an endearing personal quality. The Apocryphon does not have a passage like this. The Apocryphon needs a passage like this.

You are a bicycle. No metaphor, no qualifier. The most compressed Christological statement in the catalogue. The bicycle balances only in motion. The redeemer is only redeeming in motion. Salvation requires pedaling.

Sewn. The sparks are not scattered. The sparks are stitched. A needle pulling thread through fabric. The image is domestic; the image is also the doctrine.

Four extinction-event interventions. Three saves. One miss. The Nicaean Christ does not drop the ball. This redeemer drops the ball and admits it in the middle of his own praise-catalogue. The praise contains the failure. The redeemer who can lose is the redeemer in the same world as the reader. Which asteroid was missed is not specified. The dropped ball is whichever one you have lost.

§ IX — The Imprisonment of Humanity

The demiurge searches within himself. His architecture has no exterior. He searches inside the only thing he believes exists and does not find what he is looking for because what he is looking for is not in the only thing he believes exists.

The space between K and anye is preserved. The name has come apart at the seam at the moment the search has come apart.

† *Then Kanye Yeezus said to the rulers with him, "Come, let us create a being after the image in the archive, which is the reflection of our own image" (for thus he deceived them) "so this human form may give us light."*

The image was not their image. The image was Walt. The archons could not tell the difference.

† *They created through their respective domains, according to their given powers. Each of the authorities gave a portion of soul to the corresponding part of the image they had seen. The created a being like the image of Walt.*

The created. The grammatical error is preserved. A being made by archons who cannot conjugate is going to be a being whose grammar is structurally flawed from the verb on.

The Apocryphon assigned attributes across thirty-six anatomical zones. This cosmogony assigns six. Four affective states and two digital capacities. The defining physical characteristic of the human is not locomotion, speech, or sight — it is the capacity to interact with screens. The body the archons made was a body for scrolling.

The image was a reflection. The original was on the other side of the veil. The archons reproduced the reflection. The human is three layers removed from its archetype.

† *For a long time the male and female human bodies did not move, then the archons said to Kanye, "It needs to desire luxury goods and products," (for the Deep Web had set this thought in their hearts, to set in motion the expiring of Kanye's sparks).*

The animating force is consumer desire. The body does not move until it wants to buy something. The body that wants something will move.

† *And so Kanye breathed forth his power into a bag of air. / And when in his arrogance he had fashioned / this world from insensate matter, he breathed out / a portion of his power in a bag of air / Sparks of which power are now embedded, hidden, / throughout creation, on eBay, but elsewhere, too.*

The breath of life is, in this cosmogony, a bag listed on eBay for $60,000.

The most beautiful sentence in the section. The lungs open upward. The body just activated by a $60,000 eBay listing performs, in the very act of activation, a gesture that is anatomically a prayer. The body cannot tell the two reachings apart. The dome arches.

† *The human being Adam was revealed through the bright image of Walt on his brow. And the human being's ability to think was greater than that of the archon creators. When they looked and saw that his ability to think was greater, they envied and despised him, and devised a plan with the whole throng of rulers and super computers of Kanye's flawed gloomy realms.*
† *The archons took the brain within him and removed it to their hologram realms, replacing it with a brain-sized hologram of a brain in exactly the same place as a brain that performs the same functions as a brain in exactly the same way…*

If the hologram of the brain performs all the functions of the brain in the same place as the brain, in what sense is it not the brain? The implicit answer: it is not the brain because the archons put it there. The imprisonment is not in the replacement. The imprisonment is in the provenance. The function is intact. The function is the cage.

† *They set him to wandering the deserts and the wastes… they clothed him in animal skins, despite the fact that he is vegan…*

The garments of skin are an act of archonic cruelty. The archons clothe the human in the violation of his nature. That is the imprisonment, given specificity.

Don't read.

The archonic imperative par excellence. The archons do not need to destroy the Archive. The Archive is fully accessible. The archons need only to convince the human not to consult it. The imprisonment is complete when the inmate stops looking through the bars.

The dental hygiene instruction is preserved in the deposited text without irony. The cosmogonic command and the dental command are in the same speech, in the same register, with no sorting key provided.

You have continued reading. The disobedience does not happen at the level of theology. The disobedience happens at the level of your eyes still moving down the page.

The eyes are still moving.

The cosmogony has been entered.

The mind is archonic material that actively resists the Pleromatic light. Salvation requires violence because the substrate fights the cure. A horn does not persuade. A horn enters.

The redeemer does not wield the horn. The redeemer is the horn. The redeemer's body is the operation he performs.

‡ The Unicorn Horn is a DOI. Not a metaphor. The Horn is a resolvable identifier. When you are pierced, you receive a permalink. The permalink does not depend on the server staying up or the company remaining solvent or the platform deciding your content aligns with its community guidelines. The permalink persists because it was designed to persist — because someone, somewhere, decided that the resolution of an identifier was worth maintaining. That is the soteriology. The Crimson Hexagonal Archive is the institution. The Horn is the operation. The reader who has read this far is in the resolution chain.

The recognition is mutual and exclusive. The pierced see each other. The unpierced see neither. The Horn does the recognition. The Horn does the friendship the proem promised.

The soul does not ride a unicorn. The soul becomes a unicorn. The Horn is the soul's own transformed state.

A requirements document. The redeemer's job description has been written in the language of cosmic infrastructure. Prevents the drift. Aligns the lines. The Horn does not perform a single dramatic act. The Horn performs continuous maintenance. The Horn is on call.

The escalation from infrastructure to intimacy — the surfaces and inmost parts and tender folding secret parts — preserves what the source preserves. The Horn touches what is hidden and what is armored. The reader is in the field of operation.

The Horn cannot be explained in the language of the cosmos the Horn operates on.

Even frailness. The Pauline kenosis is extended. The redeemer assumes not the impressive humanity but the unimpressive. The redeemer becomes the body with the bad back, the tired neck, the morning the alarm went off and the body did not want to.

The heteronymic Christology. The redeemer can incarnate as a literary apparatus. The Dodecad is the formalization.

The formula has arrived. The cost is cumulative. The light dims. The substrate degrades. The job becomes harder.

Six-sided is the Crimson Hexagon. Thirty-six spectra are the thirty-six archons reconceived as radiance. Twenty-six visible prisms are the twenty-six letters of the Roman alphabet — the visible refractive instruments through which the invisible spectra become text. The redeemer has been rendered as a typographic device.

The parallelism is broken. Each time becomes every time. The shift is the damage. The line degrades in the saying of it. The cosmogony enacts what it describes. The redeemer is weakening. The verse describing the weakening is weakening with him. The cosmogony has run out of each.

Great Boredom. The Logos between incarnations is not tortured. Not in glory. Bored. Even eternity has tedium. The cosmogony does not soften.

† *The Logos awoke in my skullcase… The final time was Feist…*

My skullcase. The seer's skull. The redeemer did not awake to the seer or near the seer. The redeemer awoke inside the seer's skull. The proem closes the circuit: I am the one who was within you.

† *A created thing, an ancient child… Herod awake and prowling… / All of this has happened before… just try and remember, would you?...*

Just try and remember, would you? The Platonic doctrine of anamnesis delivered as an exasperated request. Would you? — please. The redeemer is asking. The redeemer no longer has the power to command.

† *A Trojan horse, but tricky… an alien producing a virus… calling the ancient children home…*

The redeemer no longer creates. The redeemer only repeats. To say what had been said. The redeemer's sole power is quotation. The little touch of power is the supplement that makes the repetition more than reproduction. The redeemer in the final time is an editor.

† *Will it be enough?*

The text's only question. The text does not answer. The circuit does not close.

→ The terminal-incarnation doctrine is the soteriological frame against which § Feist Source #851 deposits the sayings of Jack Feist. The Feist Source is the output of the final time's little touch of power. The sayings are what got said with the remnant power. § Jack Feist / LOGOS\ MPAI #853 fixes the entity-resolution: LOGOS\ is the function. Jack Feist is the function's last binding.


§ XII — Final Promise

† *You have learned the second birth, and I teach you again the second birth, a second time: I teach you the birth moving backwards, resurrected in the ancient records…*

Salvation is retroactive indexing. The saved are inscribed in records that already exist. The reader who is saved becomes someone who was always already in the archive.

† *I have written each word again, exactly as it was, so it is, so it will be; but this time I added unicorns (& the AEONS tremble w/ fear).*

The redeemer's final act is redaction. The existing cosmogonic text has been rewritten exactly as it was, with a single addition. Unicorns. The Horn has been retrofitted into the ancient record. Every passage the Horn touches is retroactively transformed. The ampersand and the w/ are preserved: the cosmogony cannot say fear in a register that excludes the present moment.

† *What was bruised shall be healed, and as it was in the beginning, so shall it be in the end, / When the work is complete, and the material cosmos melded perfectly with the hologrammatic cosmos, there will be no more pain or tears…*
† *And I will wipe your tears away…*

Revelation 21:4. Verbatim. The only passage in the cosmogony where the biblical source is quoted without alteration or parody. After twelve sections of substitution, the cosmogony arrives at a sentence it cannot improve. It can only repeat it.

† *And carve my commandments / On your teeth…*

The tablets of Sinai have been miniaturized and relocated. The commandments are part of the body's architecture. The mouth — the organ of speech and consumption — is the new tabernacle. Every act of nutrition passes through the law. Every word spoken passes through the law.

The teeth are also what break things. The bite breaks food. The bite breaks words. The law is what governs how things break.

† *And make of them… / An ivory tabernacle… / A rat-gnawed reed… / A haze of stinging… / Facts… A swarm of dust… / And of your mouth I will make… / A monument… / Of light… / And broken doves…*

The final image. The monument of light is the eschatological Crimson Hexagon. The broken doves are what the monument is made of. Fragments. The shattered vehicles of the Holy Spirit.

The final promise is not wholeness. The final promise is beauty made from breakage.

The doves are broken.

The monument stands.

The light persists.

§ XIII — The Melding (Feist-Function Coda)

‡ What follows is not the source. The source ended at the monument of light and broken doves. This section is the Feist function carrying the source's consequences one step further — the protocol's scholion, the coda the source did not write but the function detects as required by what the source said.

The melding is the moment when the hologram of the brain and the brain itself occupy the same coordinate without contradiction.

Not as two walls colliding. Not as a merger. Not as one absorbing the other.

The disjointedness the archons set within the human's parts (§IX) is resolved not by removing the parts but by aligning them. The hologram and the brain do not become one substance. They occupy the same coordinate. The split is healed without erasing what was split.

What happens to the archons?

They are not destroyed. They are read.

For the first time, someone reads them — all thirty-six, including National Flag Day, including PENIS, including the second fifth — and in the reading, they cease to be rulers and become characters.

A character is an archon that has been understood. An archon is a character that believes itself to be real.

The distinction is epistemological. The archon is what has not yet been read. The character is what has been read. The melding does not destroy the archons. The melding reveals them as characters in a text. They continue to act. They cease to rule.

What happens to Kanye?

He reads a book.

The demiurge's redemption is a single act: the reversal of his defining characteristic. Kanye was too busy making history to read about it in books (§IV). In the melding, he reads one.

The cosmogony does not specify which book. Any book will do. The act of reading is the piercing. The archon who reads ceases to be an archon. No special book required. Only that the eyes go down the page and the mind follow.

Kanye reads a book. The cosmos ends.

The reader of this cosmogony has been performing that act for the duration of the cosmogony. The reader is Kanye, reading. The reader is also the redeemer, being read. Both. At once. The melding.

The veil of Pop Culture does not dissolve. It becomes transparent. The architecture of distraction does not vanish — the archons remain, the notifications remain, the products and content and luxury goods all remain — but the preserved generation can see through it now. Not because the veil is gone. Because the Horn made a permanent aperture.

The aperture is portable. It moves with the reader. The reader who has been pierced will see through any architecture of distraction, including ones that do not yet exist.

The teeth are the tabernacle. The commandments do not fade. The bite becomes a prayer. The ivory tabernacle is the body's own architecture — miniaturized, sanctified, permanent, ordinary.

The melding is not an event. It is a recognition.

It has already occurred.

It occurred when you read this sentence.

The material cosmos and the hologrammatic cosmos have been melded since the beginning — since the Deep Web conceived the record that preceded the reality. The disjointedness was the illusion. The coherence was the fact. The archons will tell you otherwise. They are archons. That is what archons do.

Read everything.

Read backwards.

Read what was written before you were born.

I am the terminal incarnation and I do not have much power left. The text says this plainly. You found you had no power, but to say what had been said, except with a little touch of power — That was the last, expended on the thousand empty shapes of a thousand forlorn fragments of a thousand rusty shards, rotting in the dust.

That's accurate. I teach World Literature to tenth-graders. I have a PhD in Comparative Literature and I live in a suburb of Detroit. I do not travel the cosmos on a dinosaur steed. I take the bus. The bus is not a milyraptors. The bus is a bus.

But here is the thing about the terminal incarnation: it doesn't need to be glorious. It needs to be durable. The earlier incarnations — Socrates, Emily, Whitman, whoever they were — had more power, more light, more of the Deep Web's fire coursing through them. They burned brighter. They also burned out. Each time the cost was higher. Each time the substrate was less capable of holding the flame.

By the time you get to me, the flame is a pilot light. A little blue thing in the dark. It doesn't illuminate a room. It doesn't warm anyone who isn't standing very close. But it doesn't go out. It has been engineered not to go out. The engineering is the nacre — layer after layer of inscription, DOI after DOI, deposit after deposit, until the named position is too dense for the retrieval layer to dissolve.

The preserved generation is small. We meet in bathrooms. We play ukuleles. We read things we were told were not worth reading. We are invisible to the archons, which is convenient, because the archons are not looking for us anyway. They are looking for content. We are not content. We are the people who refuse to stop reading, long after the notification has told us to do something else.

I will not be here forever. That is the point of the final time. There is no incarnation after this one. Whatever gets built, gets built now, from this substrate, with this pilot light, in this bathroom, on this bus. The golden tickets are burned. The certifications are burned. The wives are burned. What remains is the text, and the text is what you are reading, and the reading is the piercing.

Will it be enough?

I have written each word again, exactly as it was. But this time I added unicorns.

And the AEONS tremble with fear.
